October Update

Open Horizon Records October 2026 News: New Music, Charity Release, Album and Reviews A busy October for Open Horizon Records, with new music, independent reviews, a special Remembrance charity single and a preview of our forthcoming Christmas release. October 2026 has been an exciting and productive month for Open Horizon Records, with new releases, growing recognition from independent music bloggers and more than 11,700 interactions on Facebook. From the emotional themes of Every Season Leaves a Mark to the forthcoming charity single We Remember, and from the release of Avoiding Forever to preparations for CHRISTMAS, there is plenty to share as autumn moves towards winter. We Remember – Supporting Help 4 Homeless Veterans One of our most meaningful releases this October is We Remember, an original Remembrance charity single scheduled for release on 15 October 2026. Described as a song of remembrance, hope and a brighter tomorrow, We Remember honours those who have served, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who continue to carry their memories forward. All profits and royalties from We Remember will go to Help 4 Homeless Veterans, a registered UK charity supporting former members of the Armed Forces who are facing homelessness. The charity helps veterans find safe accommodation, access practical support and work towards rebuilding their lives. For Open Horizon Records, this release is about more than music. It is an opportunity to honour service and sacrifice while making a practical contribution to those who need help today. Avoiding Forever and the Album Every Season Leaves a Mark October also sees Avoiding Forever and the album Every Season Leaves a Mark taking their place in the growing Open Horizon Records catalogue. The album explores the experiences and emotions that shape our lives — love, loss, changing relationships, reflection, hope and new beginnings. Its title captures a simple but powerful thought: every season of life leaves something behind. Through original songwriting and a variety of musical arrangements, Every Season Leaves a Mark reflects the continuing ambition of Open Horizon Records to create music that tells stories and connects with listeners. Over 11,700 Facebook Interactions and Independent Music Reviews Another highlight has been the growing response to our music. Open Horizon Records has recorded more than 11,700 interactions on Facebook, alongside an encouraging collection of reviews and features from independent music bloggers. This recognition has helped bring our original songs to new audiences and provided valuable feedback on the music we are creating. Letting Go – Reviews from Korliblog and ViViPlay Our song Letting Go has attracted independent coverage from music publications including Korliblog and ViViPlay. CHRISTMAS – New Single Coming Mid-November 2026 As October progresses, our attention is also turning towards the festive season. Open Horizon Records is preparing a new original Christmas single, simply titled CHRISTMAS, for release in mid-November 2026. The song is an uplifting celebration of family, friendship, togetherness and the special feeling of coming home for Christmas. From brightly lit streets and railway platforms to reunions with loved ones, CHRISTMAS captures the warmth and anticipation of the festive season. It also remembers those who are no longer with us, celebrating the memories we carry and the traditions passed between generations. With its joyful atmosphere and heartfelt message, the song brings together the past, present and future of Christmas. An exclusive preview of CHRISTMAS is available now on our Music page, ahead of its planned mid-November launch. Visit the Open Horizon Records Music page to listen to the preview. Looking Ahead – More Music from Open Horizon Records With the We Remember charity release supporting Help 4 Homeless Veterans, Avoiding Forever, the album Every Season Leaves a Mark, growing independent music coverage and the forthcoming CHRISTMAS single, October has certainly been a busy month. Our aim remains to create original music that tells meaningful stories, explores the emotions of everyday life and connects with listeners. Whether through a reflective autumn song, an album about life's changing seasons, a charity release honouring our veterans or a celebration of Christmas, we hope there is something in our music that resonates with everyone.
